We provide professional, client‑focused support for individuals, families, and businesses seeking a more peaceful and cost‑effective alternative to litigation. With more than 18 years of experience and thousands of cases mediated, Diane McSpiritt brings skill, patience, and a steady, calming presence to help make even the most stressful situations feel more manageable.

We understand that navigating a dispute—whether it involves Florida family mediation, divorce mediation anywhere in the state, or a complex business dispute mediation—can be overwhelming. Whether your matter is pre‑suit or already in litigation, our goal is to guide you through the process with clarity, compassion, and practical problem‑solving. We offer structured, supportive sessions designed to reduce conflict, lower costs, and help you move forward with confidence.

To make mediation accessible statewide, we provide Zoom mediation throughout Florida, allowing you to participate from the comfort of your home or office while still receiving the same level of professionalism and care.

Ms. McSpiritt works with all types of participants, including those represented by attorneys, cases where only one party has counsel, and individuals who choose to represent themselves as pro se parties. No matter your circumstances, you will be treated with respect and provided with a neutral, supportive environment focused on helping you reach meaningful resolution.

Our Fees for Services

Domestic Relations Matters

PRIVATE FAMILY Mediation is $200 per hour with a 2 hour minimum. Additional Parties may incur an additional $25/per party/per hour fee.

COURT PROVIDED Family Mediation fees are set by the Court and are payable to the Clerk of Court in each circuit.

ALTERNATIVE TO COURT PROVIDED MEDIATION: If you qualify for any Florida Court mediation program, (combined earnings less than $100,000/year) we will reduce your rate to a flat fee of $400 for a 3 hour session. Additional hours are billed at $175 per hour. Payment is made directly to your mediator.

MULTI-PARTY MEDIATION (3 or more parties) may incur an additional $25 per hour per party fee.

Circuit - Civil Matters

CIRCUIT-CIVIL Mediation: is $250 per hour with a 2 hour minimum and is payable at the conclusion of the mediation unless other arrangements have been agreed to in advance.

HALF AND FULL DAY RESERVED: Half days reserved is $750 and will be billed for a minimum of 3.5 hours hours; full day reserved is $1400 and will be billed at a minimum of 6 hours.

COURT REFERRED CIRCUIT CIVIL and COUNTY cases are billed at $200 per hour unless the rate is set by the Court. Full amount is due at the conclusion of the mediation unless other arrangements have been agreed to in advance.

FORECLOSURE MEDIATION is billed at $200 per hour with a 2 hour minimum per court order.

Property Insurance Matters

Ms. McSpiritt mediates Homeowner's Insurance disputes for the Division of Financial Services, Insurance Mediation Division. Ms. McSpiritt will match the DFS rate of $300 per case for up to 2 hours of private homeowner's insurance coverage mediation for any Insurance Company. Additional hours are $200 per hour.

Family Mediation Special Offer*

FAMILY MEDIATION SPECIAL RATES* If you are scheduled for Court Provided FAMILY mediation and would prefer to select your mediator, Diane McSpiritt is available to mediate your case!

If you qualify for Florida court-provided mediation (combined income up to $100k), Ms. McSpiritt offers a flat fee of $400 for up to 3 hours of family mediation. This is slightly over the fee you would pay to the court. Additional time in excess of 3 hours is billed at only $175 per hour.

If you DO NOT qualify for court provided mediation because your combined income is over $100K/year, Ms. McSpiritt offers a flat rate of $550 for up to 3 hours of mediation with each additional hour billed at $200/hour.

Other Services

Private Guardian ad Litem

Diane McSpiritt accepts a limited number of private Guardian ad Litem family law cases each year. Ms. McSpiritt requires a $2,000 non-refundable fee payable prior to the start of the case. This fee covers the first 10 hours of GAL services. Diane then charges $150 per hour for all services, including document review and report writing. Please contact Diane for availability.

Supervised Visitation

Ms. McSpiritt may be available on a limited basis to supervise your court-ordered visits. Supervised visits are billed at $50 per hour plus $20 per hour travel time. Parent is responsible for all entrance fees, tickets, meals and other incidental charges. Billing begins at booked time. A no-show fee of 1 hour will be charged if the visit does not start within 15 minutes of scheduled time.
Fee is payable at beginning of visit.
